State Fair 2007

In August, we got to watch our nieces Julia and Lauren for a week while their mom and dad went to Italy for our cousin Jami's wedding. We had so much fun with the girls, but we were quite glad to get some help from Grandpa Steve and Nanna Celeste when they came to visit from Georgia for four days. Of course we couldn't let them leave without a trip to the Iowa State Fair. And we didn't let a little rain ruin our fun!

Really. Big. Bull. (3,322 lbs to be exact!)

Stuffed ourselves with burgers, corn dogs, fries, and beef sundaes (with a cherry on top!)

Grandpa's Buddy. So thankful we got there when we did and didn't have to stand in that line!

"Don't tell my mom and dad about this," says Julia!

How Cade feels about tractors...

Hey, girls can drive tractors too!

No trip to the State Fair is complete without a peek at the Butter Cow.

That was so much fun! I forgot about the rain! Good memories.
Julia had the best looking raincoat at the fair.
