State Fair 2007

In August, we got to watch our nieces Julia and Lauren for a week while their mom and dad went to Italy for our cousin Jami's wedding. We had so much fun with the girls, but we were quite glad to get some help from Grandpa Steve and Nanna Celeste when they came to visit from Georgia for four days. Of course we couldn't let them leave without a trip to the Iowa State Fair. And we didn't let a little rain ruin our fun!

Really. Big. Bull. (3,322 lbs to be exact!)

Stuffed ourselves with burgers, corn dogs, fries, and beef sundaes (with a cherry on top!)

Ozarks Vacation 2007

We're finally getting around to posting about our vacation that we took to the Lake of the Ozarks at the end of July. We were all set to go to Colorado, but decided at the very last minute to go to Missouri instead. We thought that Cade would have more fun and it would be less time in the car with a restless two-year old, which would be more fun for Mom & Dad! ; ) We had a blast and here are the pics to prove it!

Cade loved the water and by the end of the trip was swimming on his own (with a life jacket of course)...
