Adventureland

We took advantage of our realtor's Customer Appreciation Day at Adventureland again this year (8/24). The Cases joined us and we had a great day. The kids were all good, even Brecken. She was such a little trooper considering she only got to ride one ride (the train). ; ) I was amazed that none of the three older kids were afraid to ride anything. They all rode the Raging River (Cade & Anne got soaked), they all rode the Log Ride (Julia got soaked), they rode this little Frog Hopper ride that I probably wouldn't have rode when I was 10, and Julia even rode the Outlaw (a big, scary roller coaster). There was one ride that probably gave them all nightmares...it was called The Underground and was like an indoor (dark) mini roller coaster with an old ghosttown theme. Lauren covered her eyes through that one and the other two couldn't wait for it to be over. The guys rode all the roller coasters and Jim was pumped because he got to sit in the front seat of the first car on one of them. The park was a little crowded but the weather was pretty much perfect. We can't wait to go back next year!

This was by far the best picture of the day though...Julia was in the front seat ducking down because she had gotten soaked on the first hill and wanted to avoid that on the second and little LoLo covering her eyes...too cute!
