New Carpet

We have new carpet in our family room! I have been waiting for this day since, oh the day we moved in (9/2001). I still can't believe it's actually in. It feels like luxury compared to what we had before. Thanks Jim for saying yes and for all of your hard work!

Brecken crawled up here by herself when no one was looking and thought she was pretty cool!



Cade helped me make some Pretzel Hugs for the big game tomorrow by sorting all of the ISU colored M&M's from the rest. He told me that the yellow M&M's were "Hawkeye" M&M's. Our neighbor Wes is a big Hawkeye fan and is always trying to brainwash him. So Jim put a stop to that by teaching Cade to say, "Boo Hawkeyes, yucky Hawkeyes," which is cute and all until he starts saying it to complete strangers in public! And they just look at me like, "what are you teaching your children?" Tonight at the grocery store he saw a Hawkeye chair and said that we should buy it for Wes.
