Happy 3rd Birthday Cade!

Three years ago today, we were here:

And we had NO IDEA how much joy and laughter this little guy would bring into our lives. Three years have gone by much too fast and now I understand how our parents feel. Life.goes.by.fast. Some traits you have now that I hope stick with you for life are:

your outgoing personality - you will talk to anyone whether they are 6 months or 65, and you ask their name, and everyone is your "friend." ("my friend Daddy, my friend Wrigley, my friend Grandma");

your imagination - it is just starting to bloom, keep thinkin' and dreamin'.;

your love for outdoors - you prefer going outside to television any day, no matter what the weather;

your love of books - reading = knowledge = intelligence and that comes in handy sometimes.

There are days you test us, but we wouldn't trade these days for anything…love watching you grow and learn new things, but s l o w down…you're growing up too fast.

We celebrated with a party last weekend and a trip to the zoo today...will post more pics soon.

And little Miss Brecken was baptized last weekend...will post more pics of that too.

My Sixth Month

I'm six months old today so I thought I would share a few photos showing what I've been up to the past month. Getting big is fun, I am sitting with support now and that is my favorite thing to do. I am sort of getting where I want to go...I roll or lay on my back-arch-and scoot head first with my feet.

My afternoon naps are getting longer which isn't that great but nice for my mom and dad I guess. I'm a very messy eater and don't care for peas. I don't have any teeth yet, but I slobber a lot! And I never sit still!!!
